Information on the sailing Wednesday excursion
Info for those that expressed an interest to sail on the Swan River on Wednesday afternoon. Places are limited to 40 people, so if you have been notified that we are holding a place for you, please let us know ASAP if you change your mind.
We have arranged the hire of four Foundation 36 yachts through Swan River Sailing as part of a corporate teambuilding event. These are open-top sailing boats and you will have a competent helm who will instruct you before you set off. There are no minimum levels of fitness, but bear in mind it may be wet, windy, sunny, calm… but will go ahead nonetheless.
Full change room and shower facilities are available.

Onboard
What to wear and bring
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing
- Bring a waterproof jacket and something warm to go under it.
- I recommend bringing a cange of warm clothes to change into after as well
- Sunscreen, hat and sunnies (even if it’s raining)!
- Wear comfortable, soft soled shoes like runners or sand shoes.
- Leave rings, bracelets and other jewellery at home as they could get caught in the ropes.
- Bring a small bag for valuables & belongings to bring onboard.
- For after, no flip-flops or hats are allowed inside.
Drinks supplied
Each yacht is supplied with an icebox of water, mineral waters and soft drinks as well as a selection of mid and full-strength craft beers and a bottle of premium WA wine. BYO snacks if desired.
