How to get to Perth

Perth is home to a major airport, a short train ride from the city. It is well connected to the middle-east (Dubai, Doha…) and South-East Asian hubs (Singapore, Kuala Lumpur), as well as to the Pacific side via a stopover on the East coast of Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane).

Hotel Booking

We had reserved a number of rooms at the Nesuto hotel on campus, a 7 minutes walk to the conference venue (500m).

Update: the reserved rooms at Nesuto have all been booked by delegates

Visa

We suggest you look into visa well ahead of travelling to Australia.

If you need an invitation letter for your application, send your request without delay to the LOC.

Weather

July is mid-winter in Perth, fear not however, Perth’s winter is pretty mild and pleasant!

We have a Mediterranean climate, you will likely see both bright sunny days and rainy ones, and lots of rainbows. Daytime temperatures range between 15C and 25C, and nights sometimes dip below 5C.
