The Welcome Night at Perth Observatory will be kicking off “Meteoroids 2025” on Monday, July 7th, with tours, food, and drinks! Buses have been organized to ferry guests from Nesuto Curtin to Perth Observatory and back. We highly recommend guests to use this bus that is provided free of charge. Getting to and from the observatory may be difficult via public transport and ride-sharing applications. And if you decide to drive yourself, watch out for the kangaroos on the way back down!

Contrary to popular belief, Perth can get quite cold in the winter (at least for Australians), so please make sure you bring warm clothing.

1630: Bus picks up guests at Nesuto Curtin

1710 - 1730: Guests arrive at Perth Observatory

1730 - 1745: Welcome to Country

1745 - 1900: Guests enjoy food and drinks (with tours of the observatory museum)

1900 - 2030: Viewing through telescopes (weather permitting) as well as tours of the two historical telescopes and Worl Wangkiny.

2030: Buses departs with guests for Nesuto Curtin

2100: Buses arrives at Nesuto Curtin.
